How this site is written, checked, funded and corrected — and the things we will not do, whatever they pay.

Who writes this site

Editorial responsibility for everything published on https://vestronov.online/ rests with Elizabeth Martin, director of publication and responsible editor for Business rate s.r.o.. Every article carries a named byline and a publication date, and every article says when it was last reviewed.

We do not publish anonymous articles, and we do not publish under invented author names or stock author photographs. If an article is written by someone other than the responsible editor, that person is named in the byline and the responsible editor still signs off on it before publication.

How facts are established

Our subject is a live online game. That makes accuracy harder than it looks, because much of what is written about it online was true two updates ago. Our rules:

Primary sources first. The game developer's and publisher's own site, patch notes and store listings outrank everything else. Where a claim comes from a secondary reference work, we say so.
Cite, visibly. Articles carry a sources list that a reader can follow, not a vague gesture at “research”.
Verify what can be verified; hedge what cannot. If we cannot establish a figure from a source we trust, we say we do not know, or we describe the shape of the thing without inventing a number.
Never invent a statistic or a specification. No made-up percentages, no made-up player counts, no made-up system requirements, no made-up prices.
Date everything. Volatile facts — balance, prices, progression speed — are flagged as volatile rather than presented as permanent.
The publisher's own information prevails. We say so explicitly in every article: where our text and the game publisher's current information diverge, theirs governs.

How this site is funded

There is one revenue source: affiliate commission. If a reader follows a link marked “Partner link” and registers with the advertiser, Business rate s.r.o. may be paid a commission by that advertiser or its affiliate network. The reader pays nothing extra; the commission comes from the advertiser's marketing budget.

We disclose that relationship in four places at once, deliberately: a bar at the very top of every page, a disclosure box at the head of every editorial page before any promotional content, a visible “Partner link” label attached to every commercial button including those in the sidebar, and a note under each call to action stating that we earn a commission and that it costs the reader nothing.

Advertiser independence

No advertiser sees an article before it is published. There is no review, no approval and no pre-clearance.
No advertiser can require a change to editorial text. They can ask; the answer is the corrections procedure below, and only if they can show us a factual error.
Payment never buys a verdict. We do not accept money for a favourable write-up, a ranking position, or the removal of criticism.
Criticism stays in. If the honest assessment of a product includes a weakness — mixed reviews, a botched launch, a grind-heavy progression system — that goes in the article next to the link, not somewhere quieter.
If we cannot recommend something honestly, we drop the link rather than soften the text around it.

What we refuse to publish

These are not aspirations. They are hard limits, and they are the reason several common affiliate-page devices are absent from this site:

Fake testimonials and “reader stories”. We publish no reader submissions, no invented quotes, no composite characters and no testimonial framing of any kind.
Invented ratings. No star ratings, no scores out of ten, no “editor's choice” badges that we made up. Where we report a review score, it is attributed to the publication that gave it.
Artificial urgency. No countdown timers, no “offer ends tonight”, no fake stock levels, no invented deadlines.
Guaranteed-result claims. No promise about what a reader will achieve or obtain.
Fabricated numbers. No statistic, specification or price that we cannot source.
Impersonation. We do not present this site as official, and we state the opposite prominently. See the trademark position in the legal notice.
Tracking the reader. No cookies, no analytics, no pixels — even though they would make the affiliate business easier to run. See the cookie policy.

Corrections procedure

We will get things wrong. When that happens:

Tell us. Email info@vestronov.online with the page address, the passage you believe is wrong, and ideally a source. Anyone may do this — reader, advertiser or rights holder alike.
We acknowledge within five working days and tell you what we intend to do.
Clear factual errors are corrected promptly, normally within five working days of our being satisfied the claim is wrong.
Substantive corrections are shown, not hidden. Where a correction changes the meaning of a passage, we leave a visible note on the page saying what was wrong and what it now says, rather than quietly editing the text. There are two such notes on our main article right now.
The review date changes whenever a page is materially revised.
If we disagree, we say so and explain why, rather than ignoring the request.

Images and diagrams

Every illustration on this site is an original diagram, drawn as SVG for this site by us. We deliberately use no product screenshots, no promotional artwork and no stock photography, because reproducing a rights holder's imagery on an advertising-funded page raises trademark and copyright problems we would rather not have. Each diagram carries a machine-readable title and description for screen readers, real alternative text and a written caption.

A note on how articles are produced

Drafting may be assisted by software tools, but every factual claim published here is checked against the sources listed on the page by a named human editor, who takes responsibility for it. We do not publish unchecked machine-generated text.
